Call for Help

If you are a member or non-member volunteer, we could use your help.
Our Village membership includes a couple in their nineties who live at Atria. The wife has dementia and the husband is asking if there are fellow Villagers who could visit for an hour every other week to add needed stimulation to their lives.
We would like to form several teams, comprised of two volunteers each, who would visit the couple for conversation and perhaps for arts/crafts activities, jigsaw puzzles, or something similar. The more volunteers we get, the fewer visits would be required for each team. If eight people volunteered, that would mean one visit every other month.
Before you make a commitment, we will arrange an exploratory meeting with those who volunteer to provide details, describe the situation fully, and answer questions.
