CANCELED Going Deeper: How to Talk with Your Doctor

Learn how to discuss goals of care with your health care team. Remove the guesswork when the time comes by talking about it now. We will be using The Conversation Project guide to develop strategies to effectively communicate what matters to you the most and to ask the right questions.

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to explain what shared decision-making is, outline a plan to ask your care team to explain where things stand with your health, or your loved one’s health, currently, and what the future may hold. Also, you will be able to let your care team know your goals and preferences, especially regarding end-of-life care.
