Village Talk: Industrial History in Amesbury (4:00 PM)
Since its founding in 1986, the Amesbury Carriage Museum has expanded its focus beyond the carriage industry to Amesbury’s industrial history and its people. Join Executive Director John Mayer for a virtual tour of the Powwow River and hear how its waterpower drove the development of Amesbury’s industries. This illustrated lecture includes maps of the Market Square/Upper Millyard area, drawn by Village member Mike Prendergast, that detail many changes over time.
