Dear Villagers,
Performers, producers, stagehands - unite!
The Village has an opportunity to create our own event at the Firehouse Center for the Arts in February or March 2023. The theater and upstairs lobby will be available to us for up to five hours. Perhaps we could have a Village Follies with members and volunteers showcasing their talents, putting on a spoof, and just having fun? We’re looking for your ideas and participation.
Please click this link to let us know your thoughts: is this is a good idea? and how would you like to participate? The more, the merrier!
Have you met the CEO of Corn?
We hope you are enjoying the weather now that the drought has eased up and also enjoying the abundance of fresh vegetables and fruits that summer brings. Many people look forward to farm stands offering corn on the cob, freshly picked from local gardens. Do you enjoy it as much as this charming little fellow? We personally think his is the most entertaining endorsement we've ever seen.
An invitation from our friends in Rowley: The Rowley Council on Aging (39 Central Street) is having an Open House party on September 27 from 4:00 to 5:30 with food, music, fun, and prizes - all are welcome.
Look for the next Village Update on October 15.
