The Life and Times of Abraham Lincoln with Lee Thomas
Lee Thomas is a local educator and historian with a B.A. in American History from UMass Amherst, and Masters Degrees from UMass Lowell and Salem State. A teacher in Massachusetts for 35 years, in his retirement, Lee does history presentations around New England, including a one man show as Teddy Roosevelt.
His presentation on the life and times of Abraham Lincoln includes photographs and music from Lincoln's lifetime, from his birth in Kentucky, to his youth in Illinois and Indiana, to his family and presidency, with an opportunity for Q & A.
Village Talks are offered by the Greater Newburyport Village for the enrichment of the community. Village Talks occur every third Wednesday of the month at the Newburyport Senior/Community Center, 331 High St., Newburyport. Talks are free and open to all.
